The Relational Center is here to help people take steps out of disconnection and into community. We need restored communities that demonstrate the power of connections to create health. We need spaces like The Relational Center where people can gather to deepen empathy, support one another, and share responsibility for the wellbeing of all. 

At The Relational Center, I have gained incredible experience as a social worker and there's honestly nowhere I'd rather be. Additionally, I have taken on the role of Development Director here, therefore all fundraising efforts are my responsibility. Which means my loved one's support is more important than ever!

Most of our members only pay $50 per month for access to weekly counseling plus unlimited access to support groups, wellness classes like trauma-informed yoga, social clubs and events, and our community space with a public computer and kitchen. We also have groups that are always free and open to the public. These include two drop-in support groups for trans people and their loved ones, and two groups that guide folks through a personal healing journey while teaching organizing and civic engagement skills.

With all these free and low-fee resources, you might be wondering, how The Relational Center stays afloat?! The answer is through the generosity of people like YOU who share our values and mission. What we do is too radical for most grant funders, so we rely almost entirely on private donors. Please donate however much you can in order to keep this valuable community resource and therapist training center going. Over 85% of the population we serve are at or below the poverty line, they need YOU!
