Help me sustain The Relational Center's commitment to affordable counseling and community services by helping us meet our $35,000 year-end goal!  

Please join me in sustained support of The Relational Center.  For many years now, I have worked at TRC in many different capacities-as a counselor in training, fundraising director, and most recently, as both a current board member and supervisor to social work students.  As current board members, both Paul and I have pledged to demonstrate leadership in the area of fundraising and need YOU to help us do that! As you might imagine, despite our significant impact, this small, non-proft organization doesn't receive grant funding, and doesn't get much money from our client community-members, as we are committed to providing services to many with few economic resources and reducing barriers to access. As a result, we rely almost entirely on donations from people who share our values and vision, like YOU!

In order to creatively show my appreciation for your support for this organization and how much I believe in it, I will be donating $15 for each donation of $50 or more made to my page between now and 11:59 pm on 12/31/2019.

About TRC:
We specialize in working with marginalized populations of individuals AND over 70% of our community members have annual incomes below the Federal Poverty Guideline.  This is important work, folks.  We need YOU and your friends to support us so that we can continue to provide these services.

The Relational Center exists to promote the essential importance of relationships. When we value our connections with others and with the environment, we create the necessary conditions for health and sustainability. So our work promotes personal, interpersonal, and social practices that help people build strong, resilient relationships. Connection is VITAL to our wellbeing. In the same way that we need food every day for our survival, we also need daily connection with others to sustain our health and prevent despair. When we don’t receive connection as often as we need, we become discouraged and lose hope.  

To live long and healthy lives, we need to learn how to improve the way we connect with each other. When we improve connections, we improve health. We need spaces like TRC where people can gather to deepen empathy, support one another, and share responsibility for the wellbeing of all. 

Each year our year-end goal grows a little larger and this year it is to reach $35k by December 31st.  I hope that you will join me in honoring many years of this incredible organization by making a contribution that supports the work we do and continues to further our reach.  Please consider making a donation of $50+ so that it will generate a match of my $15 as well!
