Hello Friends and Family!

Season's Greetings.  Yes, it's that time of year again when I ask anyone and everyone I know to support The Relational Center.  As you know, TRC provides low fee counseling services, yoga, meditation, and a variety of groups and classes all based on ability to pay. We do not recieve any government funding and that is why each year, we all ask everyone  we know to pitch in a little bit to help ensure that we can continue to offer these services to folks in need. Access to compassionate counseling, yoga and other wellness services should not be limited to those who can afford to pay $150/hour or who have insurance coverage. We should all have access to the care we need.  I started at TRC as a trainee more than ten years ago.  Now I get to help train a new group of counselors and I feel incredibly honored to do so.  Getting licensed takes a tremendous amount of dedication, time and effort and I hope I can help provide them with even a fraction of the support I had at TRC.  Finally, I'd like to add that, especially in these times where there is so much hatred and animosity in our public discourse, I am very proud of the fact that it is part of TRC's mission to foster empathy and bring people together in community. Every year we host a year-end appeal that offers our supporters one last opportunity to make a tax-deductible donation to The Relational Center before the end of the calendar year.  Please help us reach our 2019 goal of $35,000 before midnight on December 31st.  With your support, we can continue to provide counseling for social justice to embolden individuals to build stronger, more empathic communities that can change the world.
