The Relational Center is here to help people take steps out of isolation and into community. We need restored communities that demonstrate the power of connections to create health. We need spaces like The Relational Center where people can gather to deepen empathy, support one another, and share responsibility for the wellbeing of all. 
I feel very fortunate to have found The Relational Center as the place where I can complete my training and further enhance my skills to be the best Marriage and Family Therapist that I can be.  I feel very well supported and hope to be able to stay here for a while to continue to support others in building community and bettering their health. 
Most of our members only pay $50 per month for access to weekly counseling plus unlimited access to support groups, wellness classes like trauma-informed yoga, social clubs and events, and our community space with a public computer and kitchen. We also have groups that are always free and open to the public. These include drop-in support groups for trans people and their loved ones, and groups that guide folks through a personal healing journey while teaching organizing and civic engagement skills.
With all these free and low-fee resources, you might be wondering how The Relational Center stays afloat! The answer is through the generosity of people like YOU who share our values and mission. What we do is too radical for most grant funders, so we rely almost entirely on private donors. Please donate however much you can in order to keep this valuable community resource and therapist training center going. We need you.

ABOUT 2018 YEAR-END APPEAL
Every year we host a year-end appeal that offers our supporters one last opportunity to make a tax-deductible donation to The Relational Center before the end of the calendar year.  Please help us reach our 2018 goal of $30,000 before midnight on December 31st.  With your support, we can continue to provide counseling for social justice to embolden individuals to build stronger, more empathic communities that can change the world.
