Hi Friends and Family!

For the past 5 months I have been so fortunate to be part of a really unique community resource for mental health. The Relational Center is a special place that is all about getting people out of isolation and tapping into internal gifts and resources that we carry, and strengthening relationships with others. As an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, I have been providing therapy for clients, individual and family. Additionally, I have been recieving my required advanced training hours to advance my scope of practice. The Relational Center, while fully licensed and accredited by the state board of behavioral sciences, is not beholden to insurance companies or other outside entitities. It is a remarkable anomoly. Services are provided on a sliding scale based on the federal poverty guidelines, which means that services can be as little as $12.50 per session... and free/included group classes and programming! How amazing is that!! Everyone deserves access to services, and The Relational Center is doing a dang good job at it. In order to stay running the way we do, we do pledge drives as so many non-profits do. I am excited to share a little bit of what I've been up to with you, and also ask that if you are able to make a donation of any size today, it would be put to great use and would be much appreciated. Every bit helps =)

Every year we host a year-end appeal that offers our supporters one last opportunity to make a tax-deductible donation to The Relational Center before the end of the calendar year. Our goal for the 2018 year-end appeal is $30,000. These funds are critical for sustaining The Relational Center's community. With your support, we can continue to integrate individual healing and systemic cultural change through affordable comprehensive mental health services to low-income and marginalized folks.
