Friends! It's that time of year again, and I am here to ask you to support The Relational Center (TRC) - an organization that has been near and dear to my heart for the better part of a decade.  The Relational Center is a non-profit, therapist training center, which provides therapeutic services to the residence of greater LA at income-based, sliding scale rates.  80% of our members exist at or below the poverty level. These are folks who are often most in need of the types of services that TRC provides, but least able to access such resources. I am proud to be part of a community with such a deep dedication to social justice in the field of mental health.

On a personal level, TRC is a second home to me. It is where I have incubated as a therapist and honed my craft. It is where I've found a deep sense of community, and met some of my dearest friends.  It would mean everything to me to see this incredible organization continue to thrive, and it's with your support that we will be able to do just that!  I'm asking each of you to donate at least $20, and more if you can. Your contribution is integral the work of the center - the ability to continue to incubate and train a force of culturally competent therapist who are doing the work of supporting healing and wellness for all.  This work is more important than ever!  I hope you will join me in lifting up this vital work by supporting TRC!

Every year we host a year-end appeal that offers our supporters one last opportunity to make a tax-deductible donation to The Relational Center before the end of the calendar year. Our goal for the 2018 year-end appeal is $30,000. These funds are critical for sustaining The Relational Center's community. With your support, we can continue to integrate individual healing and systemic cultural change through affordable comprehensive mental health services to low-income and marginalized folks.
